Faith Like a Child

What kind of training do you need to preach the gospel? As Kim K shares, the kids at this orphanage already have all they need. The 13 year olds walk around and preach. Even the 5 and 6 year olds end up on the floor weeping. These kids get left at the orphanage because their families don't want them. Some girls are left to receive education and food and then later in life are taken back by their parents to be sold as slaves or sex slaves. These kids understand true persecution, to an extent more extreme than most of the modern church will even admit exists. The founder and his son have been imprisoned and beaten, the students that choose to go to Bible school commit to lose their life for the sake of the Gospel. They truly are dying to live.

This is a verse that the kids at the orphanage are definitely taking to heart. Kim K takes an entry to share about some major recent events at the orphanage. The persecution its leaders have gone under is horrendous, and has caused major struggles with their ministry, but these kids step up and strive to help each other grow. When asked "What is your favorite thing to do?" Many of them answer "praying and preaching."

While being blessed and inspired by the faith of these children, the Brown team also wants to take a chance to bless them. They want to take time to brighten up their lives by painting and adding designs in the rooms.
